Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

In these conditions of sale, ‘The Company’ means Lion Guard Installations Ltd. ‘The Customer’ refers to the person, firm or company from whom the Company accepts an order. ‘Goods’ refer to goods or services which are the subject of such an order, whether placed verbally or in writing.

2. Orders and Goods

The Customer agrees to purchase and have installed the Goods specified in the order form. Orders are individually manufactured, and any Goods not used in their intended location cannot be credited against the contract price.

3. Payment Terms

The outstanding balance is payable immediately after installation or delivery. Payment must be made to the installer in cash or by bank transfer to the Company. Late payments incur a 2.5% monthly interest.

4. Survey and Order Cancellation

The Company reserves the right to cancel orders after a technical survey if obligations cannot be fulfilled within the contract price. In such cases, deposits will be refunded.

5. Risk and Ownership

Risk passes to the Customer upon collection or installation. Ownership remains with the Company until full payment is received and cleared.

6. Installation and Customer Responsibilities

The Customer must allow access for installation. If no installation date is set within 28 days of notification, the balance for bespoke products becomes payable. Customers must provide water, electricity, and remove fixtures if necessary.

7. Liability and Property Condition

The Company is not responsible for pre-existing issues like rotten timber or asbestos unless agreed. Additional work will be quoted separately. The Company takes reasonable care but is not liable for minor damage.

8. Product Guarantees

PVCu frames are guaranteed for 10 years. Glass units for 5 years against seal failure. Locks and moving parts for 1 year, subject to maintenance. No cover for cosmetic wear, condensation, or glass breakage post installation.

9. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

10. Legal Governance

This agreement is governed by English law. Customer statutory rights are not affected.

11. Retention of Title

Goods remain the property of Lion Guard Installations Ltd until full payment has cleared.

12. Transferability

This guarantee is transferable to new owners.
